Melt filtration disc, also known as disc filter element, is used for filtering high viscosity melts. The sheet design maximizes the effective filtration area per cubic meter, achieving efficient use of space and miniaturization of filtration devices. The main filter material is made of stainless steel sintered felt or multi-layer stainless steel sintered mesh. There are two types of melt filtration discs, classified by material: stainless steel sintered felt and stainless steel sintered mesh; Divided by structure: soft seal (center ring edge wrapped type), hard seal (center ring welded type). Among the above types, the biggest advantage of stainless steel sintered mesh filter material is high strength and impact resistance, but low dirt absorption capacity. The advantage of sintered felt is large dirt absorption capacity, strong service life, and good breathability.
